This page explains what information QuasarShare collects when you visit, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've tried to write it in normal language instead of the usual legal wall of text.
Who we are
QuasarShare is a website at quasarshare.com that publishes share price information and news about Bharat Electronics Limited in Hindi. For any privacy-related question, write to contact@quasarshare.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us or use the contact form, we get whatever you send — your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We keep it long enough to deal with your query and then it sits in the inbox. We don't add it to any mailing list.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record basic technical details when you load a page:
- IP address (usually in truncated or anonymised form)
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating system
- Pages you viewed and how long you stayed
- The site or search that sent you here
- Rough location, at city or region level
This is aggregate stuff. We use it to see which articles people actually read and whether the site is broken on any particular device. We don't use it to identify you personally.

Market data sources
Share price data shown on this site comes from publicly available third-party sources. Loading that data may involve requests to those providers, and they may log the request. We don't pass any personal information to them beyond what a standard web request contains.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not rent or trade email addresses.
- We do not ask for financial details, bank information, PAN, or Demat account numbers. If any page or email claiming to be from us asks for these, it is fraudulent — ignore it and tell us.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Sharing your information
We share data only in these situations:
- With service providers who run our hosting, analytics, and advertising, strictly so they can do their job.
- If required by law, court order, or a valid request from a government authority.
- To protect the site or its users from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
Data retention
Analytics data is kept for as long as the platform's default retention period. Emails are kept until they're no longer useful. If you want your emails deleted, ask and we'll delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@quasarshare.com and we'll respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the GDPR.
Links to other sites
We link to NSE, BSE, company filings, news outlets, and other external sites. Once you click through, you're on their turf and their privacy policy applies. We're not responsible for how they handle your data.
Security
We take reasonable steps to keep the site secure, but no website can promise perfect security. Please don't send us anything sensitive by email.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site. Worth checking back occasionally.
